“Alabama’s Version of Oregon Pinot Camp” is just around the corner! Mark your calendar for Tuesday, February 19th 2013 and come help us celebrate our “10th Anniversary of “AVOPC”! Tickets are on sale now! The time is 6 – 8 and tickets are in advance ( at the door) Like last year, we will have 100 tickets for each that allow you to attend from 5 -8 which means from 5 – 6 there will be no more than 100 people in the room!   • Mile Marker Release Party! (0) August 10, 2012

    Mile Marker Wine Co. is excited to announce the release of 2 new wines, Mile 5 Riesling and Mile 5 Gewurztraminer, both from the Rogue Vally, Oregon.  As with any new item, we are always excited to get them open so our fans can try them, but these wines are quite unique in that we needed a really special restaurant partner to help us with the launch, since they will only be available in kegs!

    We’re please to announce that Two Urban Licks will be pouring both of these fun wines, and to help us celebrate by hosting our Mile Marker Release Party!  We invite everyone to join us on Sunday, August 19th, at Two Urban Licks, to taste through our new wines on tap, as well as our bottled varietals of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.  The cost is $20.00 plus tax and tip, and will be from 4:00-6:00.  Two also has two full bocce courts in the back, and we’re challenging everyone to bring your own team, and see who’s best!

    A big thanks to all those that stopped by Table 50 at the Decatur Wine Festival 2011 to taste the Mile Marker 71 Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.  Lisa and I were excited to be on hand for such a great tasting, organized by a host of sponsors including our friends at Decatur Package Store.  We hope all our new friends pickup a bottle for your Thanksgiving Dinner!  Look at our calendar for more upcoming tastings and events with Mile Marker.
